Argos Extra opens in Corby!
Date: 2 Mar 2010
Corby Town Centre continues to ring in the changes, with a fantastic expansion of a well-loved national retailer, this week.
The well-anticipated Argos Extra will be opened by Mayor Mary Butcher at 8.45am on Thursday 4 March 2010 at the chain's new town centre site at the Oasis Retail Park in Alexandra Road. Previously a much smaller store operated from Market Walk, adjacent to Queens Square and Willow Place
Both the store and Corby Town Centre management teams expect high customer volumes, as people travel to check out the much larger range available from the new outlet.
Marketing Manager Nyasha Pitt said: "This is a fantastic move, for all parties involved. We're really pleased to be able to facilitate this move for Argos and of course, we're very happy about the extended range that will now be available to shoppers."
The news follows hot on the heels of confirmation of international fashion retailer H&M opening only their second store in the region in Corby Town Centre later this summer, joining the most recent new additions to Willow Place; Primark, Mothercare, Early Learning Centre, Vodafone, Café Con Leche, Askews Hairdressers, Magoolas Laserzone and as of April, Burger King.
