Willow Place and Corby Town Centre Community Fund
Our Community Fund was created during the development of Willow Place back in 2007 as a way of putting something back into the community and since then over 40 local groups and individuals have benefited from grants of between £50.00 to £1,400. Beneficiaries include drama groups, youth organisations, schools, voluntary groups, charities, sports clubs and welfare bodies. It is the funds aim to continue contribution to the local community in and around Corby to help improve our neighbours’ lives..
Through other initiatives such as sponsoring youth workers through Groundworks and working with the local Police Service we ensure that Willow Place remains a safe and friendly place to be.
The fund will continue to contribute to the development of the local community, in and around the Centre so If you are part of an organisation who that would benefit from a grant please complete and return the attached form so that we can review your application.
Charitable Support
This year we have supported 2 main charities, The British Heart Foundation in their “Big Donation” Drive and Lakelands Hospice, arguably Corby’s biggest independently run local charity, as well a host of other organisations.
From street collections to providing free indoor and outdoor space we are proud to say we help as many charities as we can to increase funds and awareness. If you are involved with a charity give us a call to see how we could help you.
Things to do
Rockingham Castle
